Lightstone U.S. Distressed Real Estate Debt Fund II is a closed-end vehicle seeking $200 million in equity capitalization. The Fund will invest primarily in senior secured loans backed by real estate assets in major US markets. These loans are expected to have conservative loan-to-value risk exposures of 60-65%. The Fund is expected to invest primarily in defensive sectors like multifamily and industrial assets. Lightstone has broad holdings in these assets classes and will leverages its knowledge and expert national team in executing the Fund’s strategy. After building a track record in the management of real estate loans with its own funds, Lightstone is now accepting outside capital.
