LAKEWOOD, NJ, NOVEMBER 7, 2005The Lightstone Group, one of the largest private real estate owners in the country, recently completed more than 15,000 square feet in leases at Larchmont Commons shopping center, located in Mount Laurel Township, New Jersey. These transactions bring the 127,000-square-foot neighborhood mall to nearly 100 percent occupied.
"This area is in the process of experiencing quite a resurgence in activity," said Jeffrey Dash, director of leasing for The Lightstone Group. "The mall is now close to being fully occupied and with each new tenant we bring to the center, the entire area benefits. It's truly a win-win for the Mt. Laurel area and our other tenants."
One of the newest additions to Larchmont Commons is the Great Life Wellness Center, which currently occupies 8,000 square feet of space. The newly established business offers unique integrated wellness solutions for 40 plus-year-old adults, focusing on life training and healthy lifestyle living.
According to William Lacy, owner and creator of the innovative wellness center, the search for the perfect site to begin his venture would not have been as gratifying without The Lightstone Group.
"Out of all the property and leasing professionals we dealt with, Jeff was clearly the most visionary and the most professional of all," Lacy said. "He grasped the concept and value of my new enterprise and helped me see a synergy that could be developed between my business and neighboring tenants in the Commons. Jeff and The Lightstone Group have become more of a strategic partner with my business, which is not what you would find in a traditional real estate setting."
Other new tenants in Larchmont Commons include a 2,500 square-foot facility for Edvista Learning Centers, which is owned by Remed Corp. The center specializes in personal instruction for disabled children. Oceans in Motion, another children's center, recently leased 2,700 square feet in the mall as well, and Silver's Karate Center leased 2,100 square feet of space.
Established tenants within Larchmont Commons include the Core Academy of Movement, a newly created dance studio serving children and adults. Core occupies a 5,000-square-foot space, which formerly housed Gold's Gym. In addition, Tot Time, a childcare center, leasing 6,800 square feet, and H&R Block Tax Services, leasing 2,400 square feet, have both renewed their leases.
Larchmont Commons is a neighborhood mall located at Route 38 in the heart of Mount Laurel Township in Burlington County, New Jersey. Other tenants include AAA/Travel Store, Radio Shack, Nova Care and Burger King.
