Regional Outlet Mall Gains AG Jeans As Tenant Monday, October 30, 2007
Prime Retail Inc., the owner of the Prime Outlets - San Marcos, said Monday that AG Jeans is opening a new store at the outlet mall.
AG Jeans will open its nearly 2,000-square-foot retail store on Nov. 5. The upscale denim company is opening the store in time for the holidays. Prime Outlets - San Marcos already is home to more than 130 of the outlet industry's top brands, including the Giorgio Armani General Store, MAXAZRIA, Hickey Freeman/Bobby Jones, Catherine Malandrino, Furla and Neiman Marcus Last Call. Rachia Green, marketing manager for Prime Outlets - San Marcos, says AG Jeans will be the perfect complement to the shopping center's mix of merchants. Prime Outlets - San Marcos is one of the top tourist destinations in Texas. It is located between Austin and San Antonio along Interstate 35. The outlet stores offer shoppers up to 70 percent off on regular retail prices on designer merchandise. The retail center is owned by Baltimore-based Prime Retail, a company with more than 15 million square feet of real estate in its portfolio.
