LAKEWOOD, NJ, SEPTEMBER 26, 2005 – The Lightstone Group, one of the largest private real estate owners in the country, is pleased to announce that a Wendy’s Old Fashioned Hamburgers restaurant is now open at its Browntown Shopping Center, located on Route 516 in Old Bridge, New Jersey. Wendy’s, the No. 3 hamburger chain by sales in the United States, began construction on its brand-new, 3,500-square-foot location in April. Jeffrey Dash, director of leasing, managed the ground lease on the restaurant.
“We are pleased to have opened a new Wendy’s restaurant within our Browntown Shopping Center,” Dash commented. “We are constantly looking for ways to enhance our guests’ experience and consistently working to bring in the best brand name retailers to all of our centers. We are pleased to add this world-famous sit-down restaurant to our tenant mix at Browntown Shopping Center.”
Pat Yancheck, field-marketing manager with Wendy’s, added, “This location marks our 15th restaurant in Middlesex County. It was a pleasure to work with The Lightstone Group on the project and to now be part of the Browntown Shopping Center community.”
This restaurant employs a total of 40 local residents. The restaurant’s management team includes General Manager Daniel Klein, District Manager Andy Chan and Director of Operations Bob Butterworth.
