THE LIGHTSTONE GROUP LEASES OFFICE SPACE
TO ANDREW SPANO RE-ELECTION CAMPAIGN


LAKEWOOD, NJ, AUGUST 8, 2005 –The Lightstone Group, one of the largest private owners of retail property in the country, has leased 1,900 square feet of space at 150 Grand Street in White Plains, New York for use as the hub of Andrew Spano’s re-election campaign. Spano has been Westchester County Executive since 1998.

The office is located in the heart of White Plains, New York, a premiere suburban locale that has been recognized nationally as a symbol of strong leadership. Home to over 50,000 residents, White Plains boasts a diverse and highly educated workforce and is a center for federal, state and county courts and offices. Spano’s office, located at 150 Grand Street, is just one block from the county courthouse.

Spano became Westchester, New York’s seventh county executive on January 1, 1998, and was re-elected to office in 2001. Previously, Spano served for nine years as Westchester County Clerk. Prior to that position, Spano spent 25 years in public education as a teacher, counselor and administrator, becoming one of the founders of the United Federation of Teachers in New York City. A Yorktown resident, Spano earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Fordham University.
