THE LIGHTSTONE GROUP SIGNS 10-YEAR LEASE WITH RETRO FITNESS FOR NEARLY 12,000 SQUARE FEET IN EASTON SHOPPING CENTER
One-Stop Fitness Depot Ideal for Typical Easton Commuter
EASTON, PA (July 23, 2007) Crunching to cut calories isn’t’ easy when you spend most of the day off your feet, whether sitting at a desk or mustering through hum drum rush-hour traffic. With 83 percent of Easton residents choosing to drive to work, The Lightstone Group today announces a much-needed pit stop for commuters.
The Lightstone Group, one of the largest private real estate owners in the country, has signed a lease agreement for 11,980 square feet with Retro Fitness in the 25th Street Shopping Center. Already bustling with retail stores and health-conscious businesses and catteries, the single-story shopping center spans 131,477 square feet.
Situated in downtown Easton off Route 22, Retro Fitness will serve as a commercial health and fitness club that offer fitness/strength training, aerobic and cardio classes, tanning, and smart-living programs, in addition to selling retail goods such as exercise apparel and equipment. Unlike its handful of competitors in the Easton market, Retro Fitness charges a modest $19.99 a month, knowing it’s your waistline-not your wallet-in need of a downsize.
“Much like the rest of our tenants, we believe Retro Fitness will become a staple in the community, and will boast a symbol of healthy living while reminding passersby that exercise should be a part of day-to-day life,” said Jeff Dash, vice president of leasing for The Lightstone Group. “The prime location of the facility is also advantageous, as Retro Fitness will be a visible player in the commercial industry near Route 22.”
Retro Fitness is joining nearby businesses including Caruno John, D.O. Occupational Therapy Group, Redi-Care Medical Center, Comfort Inn, and Mandarin Tang Cruise.
