LIGHTSTONE GROUP ANNOUNCES LEASE AGREEMENT
WITH STAPLES AT MILLBURN MALL Office Superstore To Be Centerpiece of New Fully Renovated Shopping Center LAKEWOOD, NJ, JUNE 2006 —The Lightstone Group, one of the largest private real estate owners in the country, is announcing a lease agreement with office supplies giant Staples for a new retail location at the Millburn Mall shopping center located in Vauxhall within Union Township. The almost forty-five year old Millburn Mall shopping center is currently undergoing an extensive multi-million dollar renovation by the Lightstone Group with new stores and cosmetic improvements including charming landscaping and shopper sitting areas. Staples agreed to a long-term 21,000 square foot lease because of these anticipated overall improvements to the Millburn Mall. The full renovation is expected to last through late summer and Staples will be one of the centerpiece retail outlets for the location. Jeffrey Dash, director of leasing for The Lightstone Group, notes, “When it’s completed, the Staples at the Millburn Mall will be a tangible representative of a new era for the Millburn Mall. The significant investment Lightstone Group is putting into improving the location plus its strategic location, easy access and strong market demographics make for a bright future for the Millburn Mall shopping center.” |
