Edward Kaigh Joins The Lightstone Group as
Vice President of Property Management
New York (May 28, 2008) The Lightstone Group, one of the largest private real estate owners in the country, today announced the appointment of Edward J. Kaigh as vice president of property management.
In his new role, Kaigh will be responsible for leading the operational and financial performance of The Lightstone Group’s 6.7 million-square-foot commercial real estate portfolio.
The 29-year industry veteran joins Lightstone after serving as managing director of property operations for Equity Office Properties Trust, based in Chicago. Acquired by The Blackstone Group in 2007, Equity Office was one of the country’s largest owners and managers of office properties with a national portfolio that included 543 office properties comprising 103 million square feet. During his nine-year tenure with Equity Office, Kaigh lead the operational and financial performance of an 18 million-square-foot office portfolio, which included improving customer satisfaction and reducing operating costs by 5 percent.

A licensed professional engineer, Kaigh holds a Bachelor of Engineering in engineering science from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and a Master in Business Administration from Long Island University.
