Mountainville Home to First Retro Fitness in Pennsylvania

LAKEWOOD, N.J. (April 2007) – The Lightstone Group, one of the largest private real estate owners in the country, today announced two new lease agreements with New China Buffet and Retro Fitness of Allentown at the Mountainville Shopping Center in Allentown, Pa.

With a 10-year, 11,500-square-foot lease, this will be the first Retro Fitness to open in Pennsylvania, following six facilities in New Jersey and one in Massachusetts.  Retro Fitness is an up-and-coming, state-of-the-art exercise facility that provides a new form of fitness training, wellness instruction, and childcare.

“The Mountainville Center is an ideal location as we introduce ‘more fitness for less money’ to the people of Eastern Pennsylvania,” said Eric Casaburi, CEO of Retro Fitness. “Our first location in Pennsylvania will offer members an exciting and inviting environment for exercising with the latest equipment from Life Fitness, Hammer Strength, Intek and more, all in a hip, 80’s, fun-filled themed environment.”

The New China Buffet, which serves a wide array of Chinese-American dishes, will occupy 5,000 square feet with a 17-year lease.

Jeffrey Dash, vice president of leasing for the Lightstone Group, added, “We welcome Retro Fitness and New China Buffet to the 118,000-square-foot Mountainville Shopping Center of Allentown, which is well known for its robust foot traffic in a busy commercial area.  We expect the two new businesses to benefit from residing in such a high visibility area, joining other key tenants such as Family Dollar, Eckerd Drugs, and PriceRite.”

Mark Threc Realty, L.P. represented The Lightstone Group during these leasing transactions.
