LIGHTSTONE GROUP SECURES OVER 11,000 SQUARE FEET OF NEW RETAIL AND OFFICE SPACE LEASES AT NEWBRIDGE SHOPPING PLAZA IN NEW JERSEY

Strong Demand Continues for Retail and Office Space in Northern New Jersey

LAKEWOOD, N.J. (April 23, 2007) – The Lightstone Group, one of the largest private real estate owners in the country, today announced that it has signed four new retail and office lease agreements at Newbridge Shopping Plaza in Bergenfield, New Jersey.

The retail transactions included the very popular Farmer’s Market with 9,200 square feet for ten years, and Carl Goldstein (Glatt World), one of the area’s largest kosher butchers, with a five-year renewal for 1,220 square feet.

The office space leases include dentist Dr. Young Tae Do, DDS, who extended his existing 780-square-foot lease for an additional 12 years and and Thomas P. DiBuno of HHS Contracting for a new 540-square-foot lease for five years.

“We’re always pleased to see lease renewals with long term tenants such as Dr. Young Tae Do, with more than 25 years operating in the location, and Carl Goldstein, with more than 15 years,” said Jeffrey Dash, vice president of leasing for the Lightstone Group.  “Such stability adds to the neighborhood charm of the shopping center. In addition, the Farmer’s Market has found a prosperous home in our center and we hope it becomes one of our long-term tenants as well.”

The Lightstone Group was represented by Newstone, LLC, of New Jersey during these leasing transactions.

Newbridge Shopping Plaza is located on Newbridge Road, two and one half miles north of Route 4, a major North Jersey East/West thoroughfare. The property is situated in Bergen County and services surrounding communities such as Englewood and Teaneck. The center is anchored by AutoZone.
