LAKEWOOD, NJ, MARCH 14, 2005 - The Lightstone Group, one of the largest private owners of retail property in the country, has named Ellen Ludwig Director of Human Resources. In this capacity, Ludwig will be responsible for all aspects of the Human Resources Department for The Lightstone Group. She will be based in the Mahwah, New Jersey office and will report directly to David Lichtenstein, chairman and principal of The Lightstone Group.

With more than 17 years of human resources experience, Ludwig served for nine years as Director of Human Resources at Snapple Beverages in White Plains, New York. Prior to her affiliation with Snapple, she worked in Human Resources for Carrera Eyewear in Norwood, New Jersey.
This seasoned human resources professional holds a Master of Business Administration in Human Resources from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, N.J. and a Bachelor of Arts from The State University of New York (SUNY) in Albany. Ludwig continues to expand her expertise in the Human Resources field and has completed advanced studies in the field of Training, International Human Resources and Labor Relations.
Ludwig is currently a member of several professional associateions, including the Society of Human Resource Managers (SHRM) and the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). She is also active in her community, where she has worked as a literacy volunteer.
The lifelong Rockland County, New York resident has two children and resides in Valley cottage with her husband.
